Tai Chi for Children

by Mackenzie Hawkins

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art and health exercise based on Taoist philosophy. The practice of Tai Chi form is a “moving meditation” that facilitates greater mindful-awareness and relaxation, resulting in improved resilience, responsiveness, and effective action. In other words...

Tai Chi is a practice for being the best warrior you can be.

A long time ago, people needed to be self-reliant and know how to defend themselves. With Tai Chi, people found ways of overcoming challenges even when the odds were against them. That is why Tai Chi is called an internal martial art. Tai Chi masters learned to develop true inner strength in body and mind.

At Wuwei Princeton Academy, young students get to join in this long tradition and be hero-warriors in training for whatever challenges they want to take on in life.

Below is a gallery of student work from 2015 - 2019.

When you are sad to happy.
And there is a lot of Tai Chi.
It can make you a Tai Chi warrior.”
